Create an original album cover design and disc.

The cover is a combination of several individual objects. The blue jeans, drumsticks, guitar picks and ticket stub are all separate images. The textures in the band's name and album name are two fabrics that were scanned in and placed inside the text. I am very happy with the way this project turned out.

The disc isn't as complex. It's a combination of an image of my concert ticket stubs and a piano keys. Note the transparency in the piano keys.

Final Project

Objective: I'm gonna tell a story. You've heard the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words". Well, this is a fine example. Many have heard the story.... classmates, friends, family, everyone.... I've got a lot of support behind this print just as I have had with other things going on in my life this year.
No offense Grandma, but I had to do this. When crazy things happen, crazier things can be expressed through art. This chapter is called The Singer Vacuum Cleaner Army.

Art 368: Intro to Silkscreen, Screen Printing

Objective: Make a drawing of 8 or more colors, and print it one layer at a time.

In order, here are the first five layers. Doesn't look like much,

although I spent over nine hours and I'm not even done yet.
